ITALY BAR

ITALY FOOTBALL BAR

A bar in Italy is a business establishment in which patrons can purchase coffee drinks, wine and liquor, and often morning pastries and/or sandwiches called painini (un panino is one sandwich, two sandwiches are due panini). In larger bars, many flavors of Italy's famous gelato, or ice cream (really more ice milk) may be served.
In Italy, the bar is the center of social life, not a place to consume large amounts of alcohol. Italians may visit their local bar several times in the morning for coffee, and again in the early evening for an aperitivo or cocktail before dinner.
In bars in larger cities, and especially ones near tourist centers, it will cost more to sit at a table (sometimes even more if the table is outside) than it will to stand at the bar. Prices are posted--al banco meaning the price for consuming a beverage at the bar, or al tavolo, meaning the price at the table. Smaller town bars may not levy table charges.
Some bars or caffes in Italy are beautifully decorated and going inside is a pleasure. Take a look at the carved marble bar in Caffe delle Carrozze in Chiavari. By the way, they have a fantastic house coffee, too.

Italy lifestyle

The most wonderful thing about Italy is that there is something for everyone. Romantic cities, breathtaking scenery, perfect climate, mountains to ski and walk in, lakes to be sailed on and holidayed beside, festivals to be watched and this all leads to a lifestyle that could be called perfect! they have a great love of life. Art lovers can choose from a variety of towns and cities and even small villages to peruse at their leisure the vast array of art galleries, exhibitions and churches. Life in Italy makes it very easy for visitors to meander around from numerous art galleries or open-air theatres, or wander around Rome or Venice or any of the other towns to get a feel of the history and the centuries of life that has taken place there. But it is not just the visitor to Italy that will be able to enjoy this lifestyle, whilst work is to be done; the Italians still are able to indulge in 'La Dolce Vita' , a lifestyle full of romance, culture and fine foods! In summary, the Italian culture is one of great flamboyance, colour, enjoyment and passion.

In Italy conversation is an art form. As you walk in the streets or stop at a café in one of the many squares, you will notice Italians of all ages engaged in intense and animated discussions on a wide variety of topics ranging from family, work, politics, gossip, food, wine and sports, especially soccer.

Introduce about history of Italy clothing

Italian Fashion during Renaissance.

There was increased consumption of highly fashionable cloths with greater stress to the quality of textile cloths. The demand in high quality cloth materials led to manufacture of fine fabrics.

There was revival of Italian Fashion on 25th February 1951, when Giovan Battista Giorgini held a fashion show in Florence. Giorgini keeping in mind the international audience threw an extravagant party at his villa. He had invited buyers and journalists to cover the show. The models were noble men and women who wore extravagant Italian clothes in the ballroom. Giorgini wanted to show that these expensive clothes are worn by rich influential people with ease. The fashion show became overnight success. In July 1952, Giorgini again organized a fashion show with names such as Capucci, Valentino and Armani became instant success.
Till 1970s the fashion was especially for rich and famous people. With change in time, the Italian fashion concentrated and designed cloths for common man. In 1970s to 1980s, Milan became a fashion landmark and created current trends such as blue jeans and mini skirts which were affordable for common people. The most stylish and trendy dresses were available to common man at a low price.

Italian clothing on nowadays

Italian style in clothing and accessories began to emerge as one of the global fashion trends by the end of World War II. In those early days the fashion conscious had essentially two choices, department store mass produced clothes or the very exclusive and expensive couture from Paris and New York. It took the Italians to recognize the need for more available, comfortable but still sophisticated and well tailored clothes. The prêt-à-porter Italian clothing industry emerged as Italy’s answer to mass produced clothing.

Italy has long been famous for textiles and the exporting of accessory fashion items and leather merchandise, in particular fine shoes and jewelry. The invention of eyeglasses can be attributed to Italy which is now home to the largest number of designer sunglass companies in the world. Italian style and Italian clothing are ingrained in Italian society and as a nation the poorly dressed are not endured. When dressed in Italian clothing you are making a class statement of elegant refinement.

Drawing on an extraordinary cultural history and coupled with a flair for great advertising and promotion, Italian design houses have an uncanny ability to continually modernize both Italian style and Italian clothing. In a country where the police wear designer uniforms the “Made in Italy” label is one of the most exclusive stamps of quality and style in the world of contemporary fashion.

Italy's elegant style has been defined as: the classic and very delicate. Although it sounds simple, but the details of such a request unique, simple but never boring imitation of the style and was not easy to copy, often requires a very good, well-produced, highlighting the basis of body shape of the skirt, and spent much of the price about the only real decent jewelry.

Italian clothing and Italian style play an important role in Italian life. Italians dress well and looking good is just as important in Italy as it is here in Montreal. Fortunately, there are many top local and world renowned Italian designers to accommodate the needs of the well dressed. The fashion centers of Milan, Rome and Florence host the iconic houses of Valentino, Versace, Gucci, Prada, Fendi and Armani. These are the brand names that allow all of us to experience the Italian style of fashion. Italian clothes are not inexpensive but when you purchase Italian clothing you are buying into what Italians refer to as raffinatezza, refinement or polish and like the popular maxim, Italian clothing can be “reassuringly expensive.”

O Sole Mio

"'O sole mio" is a globally known Neapolitan song written in 1898. It has been performed and covered by many artists, including such stalwarts of opera as Enrico Caruso, Beniamino Gigli, Mario Lanza, The Three Tenors, as well as rock/pop artists such as Bryan Adams, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Vitas (who sings it in a high countertenor range) and Elvis Presley. The lyrics were written by Giovanni Capurro, and the melody was composed by Eduardo di Capua. Though there are versions in other languages, 'O sole mio is usually sung in the original Neapolitan language. 'O sole mio is the Neapolitan equivalent of Standard Italian Il sole mio and translates literally as "My Sun" (not "Oh My Sun").

Torna a Surriento

"Torna a Surriento" is a Neapolitan song said to have been composed in 1902 by Ernesto De Curtis to words by his brother, Giambattista. The song was copyrighted officially in 1905; it has since become wildly popular, and has been sung by performers as diverse as Beniamino Gigli, Elvis Presley, José Carreras, Plácido Domingo, Luciano Pavarotti, Mario Lanza, Franco Corelli, Robertino Loretti, Giuseppe Di Stefano, and Francesco Albanese.

The song was supposedly written at the request of a friend of Giambattista's, Guglielmo Tramontano, who was mayor of Sorrento in 1902 when the prime minister of Italy, Giuseppe Zanardelli, stayed at his hotel in that town; it was claimed that the piece was meant to celebrate Zanardelli's stay. More recent research indicates that the song may merely have been reworked for the occasion; family papers indicate that the brothers deposited a copy with the Italian Society of Authors and Editors in 1894, eight years before they claimed to have written it.
